Imagine you're at a concert, a music festival or a party, having the time of your life. You barely notice that someone is drawing a candid portrait - of you. In a few minutes they approach you and hand you the sketch. It's a present.
I'm that sneaky artist, I draw the cool little sketches. And I've done it a few times now. Below are pictures from the film festival TIFF Romania and the music festival Jazz in the Park, where back in 2022, I was invited to be the on-sight illustrator, catcher of tiny moments and large smiles. I had a great time, and the people I've drawn were always amazed and touched to receive a drawing with them in it. Magic moments can happen. Any day.
